Nearsure is looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data exchange solutions that meet the company's needs and standards, leveraging expertise in EDI X12 transactions and ETL processes.
Requirements
- Strong background in EDI X12 transactions, with proficiency in EDI mapping tools.
- Experience in ETL processes using MS SSRS is highly preferred.
- 4+ Years of experience working in Data Engineering, with proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- 4+ Years of experience working in Data Solution Architecture, designing scalable, reliable, and secure data systems.
- 4+ Years of experience working in Data Warehouse Management, including design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data warehouses.
- 4+ Years of experience working with ETL/Data Pipeline Development, specifically with Azure Data Factory (or similar tools).
- 4+ Years of experience working in SQL Server Performance Optimization, including advanced query tuning and process efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data requirements from business stakeholders to inform the design and development of data solutions.
- Define and design robust data architectures, adhering to best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and implement interactive dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI.
- Create and maintain detailed, pixel-perfect reports using Power BI Paginated Reports to support operational needs.
- Design, implement, and manage the enterprise data warehouse to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Create and maintain database routines, such as stored procedures and functions, to support complex data transformations.
