All Points is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the Orion Ground Software Test Set Operations team by designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft.
Requirements
- NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time
- Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD)
- Linux-based environments
- interfacing with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays
- communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces
- Agile and DevOps workflows
Responsibilities
- designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft
- extensive use of NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time, to create and maintain test and measurement applications
- apply advanced knowledge of computer systems, programming architectures, data acquisition hardware, and information processing techniques to deliver reliable and scalable mission solutions
- ensuring compliance with applicable software development standards and best practices throughout the lifecycle
- working within Linux-based environments
- interfacing with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays
- implement and support communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces

- 5+ Years of Experience
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Software), Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited college.
