Chevron is seeking interns to help advance the global energy transition by applying technology to reduce the carbon intensity of oil and gas, aiming for a lower-carbon economy and achieving net-zero ambitions.
Requirements
- Knowledge or experience in code/script languages to automate cloud services including, C-Sharp, PowerShell, HTML, Python, YAML, Ansible
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Active Directory
- Knowledge or experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Alma Linux, CentOS, and Ubuntu)
- Knowledge or experience in Hypervisor Environments such as Hyper-V, VMWare, or other virtualization technologies
- Knowledge or experience in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Microsoft 365
- Certification, knowledge, or experience with Agile or SAFe methodology
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Participate in Azure Cloud/Digital related business requirement discussions and design through SAFE Agile ceremonies.
- Perform Azure cloud work such as logical system design, cloud architecture analysis and design, and systems engineering.
- Implement and automate Azure services through DevOps Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Design and implement application security for Azure cloud native solutions.
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and data protection services in accordance with company security policies and best practices.
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure environments and services.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to identify optimal cloud solutions.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Management Information Systems
- Must provide a current, unofficial transcript with online resume (as proof of good academic standing) when applying for this position to be considered
