Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer Intern to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives around the world, and to help build on their wide portfolio of secure, affordable, integrated, and multi-domain systems and technologies that fuel their missions.
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Cyber Software or Systems
- Python 3, Java, C-Sharp, C++, Linux, SSH, MATLAB, Autodesk Inventor and Maya, LabVIEW and Multi-sim, Zebra Inventory Management Systems, Microsoft & Google Office Suites
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and integrate software systems
- Participate in the development of software systems, including requirements definition, design, implementation, and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain software documentation
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards
- Collaborate with other engineers to resolve technical issues
Other
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2026
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Be able to provide unofficial academic transcripts at time of application
