MongoDB is seeking Data Engineering interns to collaborate with full-time engineers and gain hands-on experience building the foundation of MongoDB's data-driven culture, specifically to design and maintain reliable data pipelines and contribute to the infrastructure that powers MongoDB's data platform.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or a comparable object-oriented programming language
- Foundation in computer science theory, with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain reliable data pipelines
- Strengthen data accessibility for decision-making
- Contribute to the infrastructure that powers MongoDB's data platform
- Make production-level contributions that directly support internal teams, external customers, and developer community
- Work alongside the Data Pipeline and Data Platform Engineering teams
- Build and maintain core data platform services and related infrastructure
- Empower teams to access and understand data for decision-making
Other
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes
- Graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
- Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles
