Transcard is looking for a Data Science intern to gain exposure to various opportunities within their Data Science department, contributing to projects in data engineering, optimizing data warehouse, setting up business intelligence/reporting, fraud detection, automation, and data science.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, databases, and related coursework/class projects.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Completed or currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology degree.
- Preferred Data Science, Data Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands on guidance with assigned projects.
- Project focus areas will typically be in data engineering, optimizing data warehouse, setting up business intelligence/reporting, fraud detection, automation, and data science.
- Gain exposure to various business functions in Transcard and the products we offer.
Other
- Must be highly resourceful, self-motivated and be able to work through ambiguity in projects.
- Availability to work on-site in the Chattanooga office at least 3 days a week.
- Ability to work remotely and independently from direct supervisor as needed.
- Must have great time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Candidate must reside in the US.
