Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to perform a variety of duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas, including constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Requirements
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Other
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
