JPMorganChase is looking to innovate and improve the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products by hiring User Experience Designers and User Experience Researchers.
Requirements
- Digital portfolio demonstrating the ability to think from the perspective of the user, including the ability to communicate the following stages for Experience Design, Experience Research: Problem, Ideation, Testing, Solution, Impact and Reflection
- Familiarity with user-centered design approaches.
- Proficiency in Interaction Design and Visual/UI Design or Information Architecture.
- Experience with user-centered design practices.
- Developing skills in User Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping.
- Understanding Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.
- Basic communication and presentation skills, including explaining design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design and re-design product experiences under the guidance and direction of Experience Leads
- In partnership with UX Researchers and Lead Designers, participate in user research to better understand user needs and behaviors, and usability testing to see how your solutions work for users
- Explore different options through ideation and prototyping, landing on elegant and even unexpected solutions that satisfy requirements.
- Diagram the interactivity of the product, including user flows and wireframes
- Build upon our Design System to detail design that brings our solutions to life.
- Begin incorporating Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices
- Present work, and articulate design decisions, to Design Leads and your specific Product Team
Other
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design) in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Engineering, Communications, etc.)
- Expected graduation date of December 2026- June 2027
- Deliver quality work on time.
