Requirements
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java (internship, academic, or project-based).
- Understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with real-time embedded systems or aerospace/defense applications.
- Experience with DevSecOps
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and secure software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, hardware engineers, and other software engineers, to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Participate in software requirement analysis, code reviews, and testing procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Follow established software development processes, including Agile methodologies and industry standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and team efficiency.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (STEM).
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- DoD Clearance: Secret
