Nassau Financial Group is looking for a Data Engineering Intern to support their data infrastructure and pipeline development efforts, gaining hands-on experience with modern data tools and technologies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Knowledge on big data technologies (Apache Spark).
- Familiarity with AWS cloud and ETL components like Redshift, Glue.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of database systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines
- Clean, transform, and organize raw data from various sources (APIs, databases, AWS S3)
- Support ETL processes and automate data workflows
- Monitor ETL jobs performance and troubleshooting issues
- Document data engineering processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases

- Interns are fully supervised and instructed on all assignments and are encouraged to confer with their superiors when any questions or problems arise.
