Raytheon is looking to develop solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage by creating holistic security solutions leveraging Anti-Tamper (AT), Cyber Security, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a BS (or higher) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Applied engineering experience or coursework with exposure in one or more of the following domains: Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware development, Systems Integration and/or Test, ASIC development, Cybersecurity, System Security, Digital Electronics design or similar work history
- Cyber Security or Program Protection experience and / or course work
- Experience in design, development and fielding of secure systems for military applications
- Knowledge of DoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as ACAS, STIG, SCAP Compliance Checker, and HBSS
- Familiarity with systems engineering, software development, and cybersecurity principles
- Experience with secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development of cybersecurity / anti-tamper requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and policies
- Defining security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software component
- Understanding and integrating cybersecurity development activities
- Performing analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results
- Conducting technical and nontechnical trade studies
- Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using DoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as ACAS, STIG, SCAP Compliance Checker, and HBSS
- Participate in the design and development of systems
Other
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2026
- Must be a U.S. citizen, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date
- Must have a 3.00 cumulative GPA required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date
