Holland America Line is looking to improve its dashboarding, environmental data collection, and sustainability engagement to increase work task efficiency, environmental awareness, and ease of compliance and operational oversight.
Requirements
- Proficiency using MS office Suite including Outlook & MS Teams
- The types of duties the students will perform will vary and may require some technical tasks, projects and/or work that may require specific proficiencies, technical abilities and/or computer skills.
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Responsibilities
- Evaluate environmental data collection processes and work with the team to implement process improvements.
- Work with the Fleet Environmental team to identify opportunities for environmental dashboards and work with the associated data teams to develop new dashboards or enhance existing dashboards
- Create an information hub/SharePoint site for job aids for Environmental Officers
- Create/update environmental and sustainability employee educational content
- Support environmental and sustainability employee engagement programs
- Other duties related to environmental data analysis and reporting as assigned
Other
- Eligible candidates are enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (where they are at least a rising junior) or in a graduate/Ph.D. program and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer 2026.
- Ability to work independently, remotely and self-manage
- Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
- Environmental (Science, Studies, etc.) or Business administration/computer science/data science
