Caterpillar Inc. is seeking to solve business and technical problems related to gas turbine product design and development by leveraging the skills of engineering interns. The goal is to provide students with challenging assignments that contribute to improving the durability, reliability, performance, cost, and manufacturability of gas turbine products.
Requirements
- Currently in the process of obtaining a 4 year or advanced degree in Engineering or other relevant degree.
- Classified by your school as either a Sophomore, Junior, Senior planning to attend graduate school, or currently attending graduate school.
- Overall cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
Responsibilities
- analytical simulations (FEA)
- development engine or component testing
- materials research and analysis
- failure analysis
- design changes for product improvements
- engine assembly support

Other
