Holland America Line is looking to solve the problem of designing spaces on cruise ships by hiring an Interior Design Intern to support the interior design department with projects related to designing spaces on cruise ships.
Requirements
- 2 years CAD/Revit or similar.
- 2 years 3D modeling.
- 2 years Adobe Creative Suite.
- 2 years using MS office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint & MS Teams.
- Ability to work independently and in a group environment with excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and team working skills.
- Ability to prioritize and maximize efficiency.
- Well organized and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage resource library in Seattle office.
- Assist design department with design presentations to communicate design concepts.
- Assist design department with sourcing products for design concepts.
- Create 3-D models of spaces or products.
- Assist with vendor meetings (receive, set up).
- Request/return samples, manage mail, communicate with vendors.
- Incorporate Sustainability knowledge and Circularity knowledge in design projects.
Other
- Eligible candidates are enrolled in a four-year accredited undergraduate program (where they are at least a rising junior) or in a graduate/Ph.D. program and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- MUST NOT be a graduating senior in the summer 2026.
