GMO is looking to develop future investors by providing a rotational program for highly motivated and intellectually curious individuals to gain exposure to various investment approaches and asset classes, with the goal of placing them into full-time roles upon program completion.
Requirements
- Programming experience in at least one of Python or MATLAB; familiarity with SQL is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information, identify key insights, and draw conclusions
Responsibilities
- Develop and/or redefine investment models and frameworks for understanding the drivers of returns and associated risks across markets
- Complete complex analytical projects
- Interpret company announcements and their investment implications
- Investigating macroeconomic themes and trends
- Communicating and presenting investment ideas to colleagues
Other
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree by June 2026
- Degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Mathematics, Economics, Financial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated interest in investing through relevant coursework or internship experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Genuine passion for investing and a strong desire to analyze investment opportunities
- Willingness to take initiative, embrace risk, and contribute a differentiated perspective
- Proactive and intellectually curious, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Fewer than two years of relevant experience in the investment industry
