AbbVie's Clinical Pharmacology (ClinPharm) organization needs scientific support for all phases of pharmaceutical research and development, specifically in pharmacometrics, to optimize dose selection and trial design by integrating various data sources and performing modeling and simulations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in statistical or modeling software (e.g., NONMEM, R, Python or MATLAB)
- Exposure to pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and/or modeling of dynamic systems
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing population PK/PD models
- Analyze clinical trial data using statistical and modeling software
- Support the design and optimization of clinical trials
- Generate presentation to internal stakeholders
- Conducting Exposure-Clinical response analyses
- Performing modeling and simulations
- Summarize and present the data and models to regulatory authorities world-wide

- Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PhD in Pharmacometrics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering or other related field
- Must be returning to university for at least one semester following the internship
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
