IBM's Technology sales is evolving its way of working to break beyond boundaries with innovative approaches. IBM is looking for undergraduate and graduate students who want to combine their technical interests and education with the people skills needed to prospect and co-create with customers, partners, and colleagues on solutions to our clients' most complex business challenges.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge in at least one common cloud native programming language (Java, Python, HCL, Rust, Ansible, or language in similar discipline.)
  • Conversant about cloud technology, latest industry trends and how it is being applied to address business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage contemporary hybrid cloud skills (ex. AI, analytics, DevOps, DevSecOps, IaC, security, networking, and storage) with deep industry expertise and understanding of your dedicated set of clients' businesses.
  • Define and communicate the differentiated value of IBM's technology both technically and commercially.
  • Participate in client sessions that include a broad range of public and hybrid cloud technologies, such as Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud Paks, and Kubernetes.
  • Support the solutions architecture plan and be a hands-on "builder" in client-facing engagements.
  • Advise on solution architecture to align with platform best practices and focus on our clients’ target environment to ease transition to deployment.
  • Provide a seamless transition to our clients by working with deployment teams to transition, or perform, the production deployment platform assets and information.

Other

  • 1 to 2 year Co-Op position for students to work while actively pursuing a degree for up to 20 hours while school is in session and up to 40 hours a week during school breaks and summer.

  • Motivation to achieve sales, business objectives and high client satisfaction.
  • Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills combined with an agile process.
