Stellantis is looking to solve the problem of creating all vehicle customer show surfaces for both interior and exterior designs, spanning from concept to production, by hiring a SUB-D Blender Intern to join their Digital Modeling Development team.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design
- Strong interest in digital modeling
- Blender and/or Alias SUB-D skills
- Ability to work with digital modeling software and tools
- Understanding of vehicle architecture and design requirements
- Familiarity with controlled frameworks for digital modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating digital modeling skills and experience
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize sketches and match digital models
- Work closely with the PDO design staff on a daily basis
- Follow a controlled framework that produces refined surface quality
- Create digital models of vehicle customer show surfaces
- Collaborate with the design team to achieve project goals
- Develop and maintain digital modeling skills and knowledge
- Apply understanding of vehicle architecture and design requirements to digital modeling tasks
