Requirements
- Experienced working within a lab
- Computer knowledge required; MS Office
- Knowledge of Food Science, Food Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field(s)
Responsibilities
- Participate in product ideation and scoping
- Support development of new products as well as improve existing items across all product segments
- Produce batches of formulas for development purposes as well as product prototypes and samples
- Perform analytical testing of prototypes
- Design and conduct sensory panels
- Perform product testing across full range of product attributes (pH, viscosity, brix, color scoring, etc.)
- Analyze data from testing to provide insight on product prototypes
Other
- Actively seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field(s)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time whether that be sitting or standing
- Ability to use fingers to constantly operate a computer or other type of office equipment
- Willingness to work within processing facilities in order to provide aid for projects
