Requirements
- Exposure to business, communications, journalism, life sciences, or project management curriculum
- Familiarity with emerging communications trends and relevant technologies
- Project management experience or relevant coursework
- Experience with strategic communications, stakeholder analysis, and organizational alignment
- 1 to 2 years of experience in communications, change management, project management, or related function
Responsibilities
- Partner with project managers, change management, and communications team members, as well as subject matter experts, to execute cross-functional projects
- Lead and participate in project team meetings; advise on solutions to business, technical and operational challenges
- Produce project status reports and other deliverables, monitoring progress and maintaining adherence to best practices
- Support the management of project artifacts, timelines, and strategic solutions to improve business performance
- Develop, integrate, and deliver communication plans to support change initiatives across multiple business functions and audiences
- Design, align, coordinate, and implement change management strategies for Clinical Sciences projects
- Conduct impact analyses, cultural readiness and organizational alignment assessments, and stakeholder management for strategic initiatives, ensuring tactics support AbbVie’s objectives and values
Other
- Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Life Sciences, or other related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to work collaboratively in a global environment
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
