Sherwin-Williams is looking for an R&D Engineering Co-op to work on Commercialization Engineering or Process Engineering projects to drive innovation and solve real-world problems.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of information technology infrastructure and computer platforms including Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Minitab and Business Objects
- Declared major of Chemical Engineering
Responsibilities
- Initially the individual would be expected to become skilled at making and testing paint.
- They would be responsible for assisting in optimizing formulations and processes through Design of Experiments and statistical analysis of the data.
- Potential to work with Operations for site projects.
- They will also be expected to participate in monthly and quarterly meetings presenting their work as needed.
Other
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must be willing to work up to 40 hours per week for 6 months, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Currently holding a minimum of 2.8 GPA
