Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern to support the development of requirements, concepts of operations, and algorithms for radar systems, as well as execute integration and analysis activities for the SPY-6 and LTAMDS/GhostEye radar programs.
Requirements
- Matlab, Python, Java and/or C++ experience
- Modeling and Simulation experience
- Basic Engineering skills and interest in how systems are developed and function
Responsibilities
- Develop concepts of operations for radar systems
- Develop radar processing algorithm
- Develop Radar software requirements
- Be responsible for statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
- Be responsible for analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
- Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
- Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
Other
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2026.
