Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to assist in the design, development, and testing of automated test equipment, electronic, and mechanical systems within a depot environment. The goal is to solve customer needs by providing customized engineering services and products for unique missions.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM discipline
- Knowledge of data analysis, modeling and simulation, statistics, and various computational techniques for complex multi-variable problems.
- Knowledge of STK, MATLAB, or Python
Responsibilities
- work with a team of talented and experienced engineers in performing many core activities to include design, development or test at the system, subsystem, and component level.
- Working in a Depot environment with Automated Test Equipment design, development, fabrication and test; with Electronic and Mechanical engineering/design/fabrication.
- apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve customer needs by providing customized engineering services and products for unique customer missions.
- contribute your knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving in the field of test and integration engineering
- support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from the program or team experts, and work on determining and developing approaches and solutions.

- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- DoD Clearance: Secret
- must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Sophomore by start of internship
- must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Junior by start of internship
- must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Senior by start of internship
- must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship
