To support program test operations with the Mission Capability Verification Center within Systems Integration and Test at White Sands Missile Range, NM
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree program
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date
- Experience with the instrumentation and/or operation of data acquisition systems or laboratory test equipment
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to analyze and problem solve in real time
- Familiarity with scripting, MATLAB or similar
Responsibilities
- Support installation and testing of engineering modifications and updates
- Support integration and test activities to identify, diagnose, and correct issues
- Support mission execution test events for radars or missile flight tests, which could include travel to various sites on range
Other
- Must be a U.S. citizen, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate by start of internship
- Must provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment
- Must be willing to work onsite at White Sands Missile Range, NM
- Must be willing to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays
