Raytheon is seeking an electrical engineer to utilize their academic background and experience in RF/Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs).
Requirements
- Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications.
- Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware.
- Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition and analytical tools such as MATLAB.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.
- This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at a minimum, entering their Junior year by the start of summer 2026.
Responsibilities
- Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications.

- Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition and analytical tools such as MATLAB.
- Design and hands-on testing of microwave components, cards and systems plus providing technical support to production activities.

- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Team leadership skills and presentation experience are desired.
- Onsite
