The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is looking to develop emerging talent through its 2026 SF Fed Summer Internship Program by providing college and graduate students with opportunities to contribute to finding solutions and identifying opportunities critical to the team's and the Bank's success.
Requirements
- Proficiency in manipulating and presenting data and analyses in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Programming experience in Python, Stata, Matlab or R
- strong quantitative background (econometrics, statistics, advanced calculus, or computer programming)
Responsibilities

- Critical thinking, data analysis, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An interest in economics or finance is essential; interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics is not required, but preferred

- Effective interpersonal and behavioral competencies such as collaboration, innovation, and leadership
- Full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, four-year college, or university with an expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2028
