MongoDB is seeking Software Engineering Interns to join their Internal Engineering team to build tools, applications, and infrastructure that power MongoDB's internal operations and improve productivity by leveraging AI to make data more actionable.
Requirements
- Foundation in computer science theory, with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Strong programming foundation, particularly in Python
- Familiarity with Go and React a plus
- Interest in AI, LLMs, and automation, especially how they can improve internal tools and systems
Responsibilities
- Work on projects that span both application development and infrastructure
- Contribute to systems that enhance internal decision-making and streamline workflows across departments
- Gain hands-on experience working with AI-driven applications, APIs, and internal tooling used by MongoDB employees every day
Other
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes
- Graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
- Demonstrated ownership, communication skills, and openness to taking on new challenges in a collaborative environment
