Motorola Solutions is looking to deliver the next generation of communication devices to public safety customers, such as firefighters, police officers, and other first responders, by expanding their team with software engineers who can help develop world-class digital two-way radios for the mission critical market.
Requirements
- Experience in C/C++ is a plus
- Experience in real-time embedded software is a plus
- Experience using version control; Git is a plus
- Experience with Linux is a plus
- Experience with embedded development/debug tools (such as emulators/JTAG, etc.) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work in an Agile/Scrum team to analyze, design, implement, and test new two-way radio products and features
- Teamwork in a multi-site, world-wide development environment
- Finding, tracking, and repairing RTOS device software defects
- Create and execute unit, integration, system, load, and acceptance tests
Other
- Currently pursuing at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students)
- Strong communication and problem solving skills is a plus
