Requirements
- Experience programming in Python, C/C++, or JAVA
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Prior participation in agile software development.
- Experience working with common cloud computing services such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
- Active TS/SCI
Responsibilities
- Participates in the software design & implementation of a simulated space system.
- Develops prototype software in Python, Java & C to operate on the simulated space element and the simulated ground element.
- Participates with an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs with academic collaboration partners.
- Applies standard techniques and procedures to carry out a series of prescribed scientific and/or engineering tasks.
- Training and mentorship will be provided.
Other
- Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited college/university degree program pursuing a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field(s)
- Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full- time after completion of the internship.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
