The Aerospace Corporation is looking to solve the hardest problems in space programs and provide unmatched technical expertise, specifically in the area of software integration for the Engineering Applications Department (EAD) within the Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD).
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and MERN
- Experience leveraging virtualization for developer environments
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for automatic deployment to Kubernetes
- GPA 3.5 or higher
- Active security clearance
- Experience developing Full Stack applications with microservice architecture
- Experience in Go and Typescript
Responsibilities
- Support industry leading scientists and engineers in the development of maintainable cloud native applications and backend service-oriented architecture components
- Provide technical support in application architecture and development and continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Build services that enhance data analysis and decision-making processes
- Interface with a wide variety of Engineering and Technology Group (ETG), launch, satellite, and other program office customers
- Foster innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed
- Training and mentorship will be provided
Other
- Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full-time after completion of the internship
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must work well in a team environment
- Possess organizational, time management and project management skills
