CIBC is looking to solve the business problem of building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world by hiring a Data Management Intern to support the Data Management team through impactful assignments that deepen their understanding of data operations and analytics.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in data modeling, solution engineering, and data engineering (including ETL processes).
  • Familiarity with computer systems such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Ability to deliver business intelligence solutions and build reports using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Complex Problem-Solving: Capable of working through complex issues, presenting results, and communicating effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Curious and proactive in identifying process improvements, drawing workflows, and asking insightful questions.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience by supporting the Data Management team through impactful assignments that deepen your understanding of data operations and analytics.
  • Deliver business intelligence solutions and build reports using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Work through complex issues, presenting results, and communicating effectively.
  • Identify process improvements, drawing workflows, and asking insightful questions.
  • Support the Data Management team with data modeling, solution engineering, and data engineering (including ETL processes).
  • Network across CIBC by engaging with employees, fellow interns, and executive leadership, building meaningful professional relationships.
  • Develop both technical and interpersonal skills essential for your future career.

Other

  • 3.0 GPA minimum
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
