ICF is seeking a Data Scientist Intern to support energy efficiency and load management programs for utilities by maintaining and enhancing predictive analytics models.
Requirements
Proficiency in R and/or Python or statistical modeling, data manipulation, and visualization
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and TortoiseSVN, including branching strategies, pull requests, and repository management
Working knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases
Strong understanding of predictive modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms
Familiarity with Docker for building and deploying containerized machine learning environments and applications
Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g. Azure Databricks, Azure Batch, Azure Blob/Table Storage)
Experience working with large-scale datasets and building scalable data solutions
Responsibilities

This is an entry-level, 10-week, full-time internship expected to begin in June and end in August.
Work may be done remotely from any U.S. location.
Pay is expected to be $23 per hour for undergraduate level interns and $28 per hour for graduate level interns.
