Waymo is looking to improve its autonomous driving technology by training and evaluating ML models that evaluate Waymo's behavior, leveraging advanced simulation technology to enhance model performance, and gaining experience with large-scale ML infrastructure.
Requirements
- Good programming skills- Python or C++
- Strong statistical and ML knowledge
- Programming skills in SQL
- Experience building ML models with JAX, PyTorch or Tensorflow
- Experience with Reinforcement Learning
- Experience with large scale ML infra
Responsibilities
- Train and evaluate ML models that evaluate Waymo behavior
- Leverage the most advanced simulation technology to improve model performance
- Gain experience using large scale ML infrastructure

- This will be a hybrid onsite internship position.
