Samsung Research America is building a next-generation data platform to support Smart TV products and services, focusing on TV analytics, ads targeting, and personalized services. The VD intelligence lab is seeking to develop groundbreaking technological advancements in on-device AI using Large Language Models (LLMs).
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Generative AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
- Experience with open-source libraries and frameworks relevant to LLM development
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and implement state-of-the-art LLM-based AI solutions.
- Translate theoretical knowledge into actionable applications for real-world problems.
- Review and refine LLM-based models for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with a team of researchers and engineers to integrate LLMs into existing systems.
- Identify emerging trends in LLM technology and contribute to their advancement.
- Draft and submit research papers and patents related to LLM-driven AI solutions.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a MS or PhD (preferred) program in Computer Science , Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related discipline (with focus on Machine Learning) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- A strong interest in collaborating with industry partners and contributing to the advancement of LLM technologies
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must not disclose any trade secrets of a current or previous employer.
