Requirements
- Full-time student currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university
- Recent graduates in North America
- Knowledge of health & safety risks and regulations
- Ability to identify and mitigate hazards
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of emergency response and evacuation plans
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- Going out into the mine, processing and manufacturing areas to identify health & safety hazards and assist in developing corrective actions plans to eliminate these.
- Conducting fatal risk management assessments and identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
- Attending daily lineout meetings with employees and leaders to cover safety topics.
- Supporting the investigation of incidents to determine root causes and learn how we can prevent reoccurrences.
- Inspecting work areas and facilities to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory laws.
- Helping onboard contract employees.
- Investigating and developing emergency response & evacuation plans.

- Must be a full-time student or recent graduate
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must be able to work in a variety of locations in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Iowa
- Must be able to commit to a 10-12 week internship
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
