Arizona Public Service (APS) is looking to create a sustainable energy future for Arizona and needs IT interns to support various areas such as Application Development, Business Intelligence & Data Management, Cybersecurity, and more.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Must show ongoing achievement in areas of study and training
  • 3.0 GPA or higher (preferred)
  • Knowledge of IT areas such as Application Development, Business Intelligence & Data Management, Cybersecurity, and more
  • Familiarity with internal resources to learn business/engineering operations/functions
  • Ability to conduct analyses, investigations, verifications and summarize results or findings
  • Experience with research, business documentation, studies or technical reviews

Responsibilities

  • Performs simple to intermediate analysis and designs
  • Assists in preparing business/engineering plans, designs, specifications, cost estimates, evaluations and studies
  • Assists in research, business documentation, studies or technical reviews
  • Conducts analyses, investigations, verifications and summarizes results or findings in written reports or oral presentations
  • Utilizes internal resources to learn business/engineering operations/functions and apply learning in completion of work assignments
  • Coordinates efforts with other disciplines, and/or departments in achieving project goals and task assignments
  • Performs other related duties as required

  • Must show ongoing achievement in areas of study and training
  • 3.0 GPA or higher (preferred)
  • U.S. person status (defined as a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, a Political Asylee, or a Refugee under the U.S. Export Control Laws)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate efforts with other disciplines and departments
