Samsung Research America Digital Health Algorithms Team is looking to develop novel AI/ML algorithms to transform how healthcare is delivered, addressing some of healthcare’s toughest challenges, from improving care and producing better outcomes, to reducing costs and expanding access.
Requirements
- Solid coding skills with prototyping experience in AI model development, data science, and machine learning
- Experience in physiological signal processing, large-scale time-series data analytics in digital health domain
- Strong knowledge and experience in developing AI/ML foundation models and their finetuning approaches
- Programming using languages such as Python, R, C/C++, Java, Android
- Experience with cloud infra services like AWS, SageMaker Studio, GCP, SQL, and collaboration tools like Github
Responsibilities
- You will work with an experienced digital health algorithm research team to develop novel and disruptive algorithms towards digital health services and solutions.
- Design, implement, and optimize advanced AI models, including self-supervised learning, for health applications.
- Work with large-scale time-series datasets to train and fine-tune ML/DL models using AWS AI services, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of novel AI methodologies to address complex healthcare challenges.

- Currently pursuing PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or related areas
- Good communication/presentation skills and teamwork/collaboration spirit
- Publication in top-tier journals and conferences
