Northrop Grumman is seeking to fill a Systems Engineer Intern position to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives around the world today and for generations to come.
Requirements
Be majoring in a STEM degree or related degree
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7/4.0 or higher (Preferred Qualification)
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Knowledge of space vehicle engineering activities
Experience with developing requirements, design, integration, development or testing of space payloads, spacecraft buses, satellites, human-rated spacecraft, or satellite servicing vehicles
Experience with advanced algorithms involving sophisticated signal processing and data processing techniques
Responsibilities
perform duties contributing to mission and/or space vehicle engineering activities
support and/or be responsible for developing requirements, design, integration, development or testing of space payloads, spacecraft buses, satellites, human-rated spacecraft, or satellite servicing vehicles
generating and flowing down customer requirements to hardware and software designers
developing innovative system architectures
implementing advanced algorithms involving sophisticated signal processing and data processing techniques
integrating and testing finished hardware and software products

Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2026
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
