Northrop Grumman is seeking systems engineers for an internship opportunity to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Requirements
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Responsibilities
- Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2025 & Spring 2026
