United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) is looking for Technology Summer Team Members to help develop and enhance their in-house, industry-leading technology, which enables clients to succeed with industry-first applications, tools, and support. The interns will work on summer-long projects, collaborating with other students and contributing to various technology teams.
Requirements
- Gain experience in C-Sharp, React, Kafka, Vue.JS, Swift, Java and more!
- Learn object-oriented programming and the software development life cycle (if placed with Application/Product Development)
- Help perform vulnerability assessments and review, develop, test and implement security plans (if placed within Cybersecurity)
- Participate in cohort project with other Summer Team Members, developing and designing team specific tasks, executing project work, and delivering progress presentations.
- Participate in project focused Scrum rituals (standup, refinement, planning, retrospective).
- Apply your skills and talents to improving processes and workflow
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills while being comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- The ability to multitask and demonstrate adaptability and forward thinking in the face of technological or organizational change

- Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2026 or 2027 (current junior/senior status)
- The ability to work Monday thru Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from May 18th to August 7th(we do not offer any relocation assistance)
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills
- Ability to both thrive in a team environment and effectively work independently to complete assignments on time
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to receive and apply feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple, and understandable way
