Textron is seeking to develop future engineering leaders through a rotational program to gain hands-on experience in key engineering areas and prepare individuals for leadership roles within the engineering function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Innovative problem solver, adept at finding creative solutions
  • Resourceful in addressing and resolving engineering-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in key Engineering areas such as cyber software engineering, embedded software engineering, flight controls engineering, and software engineering, through challenging assignments across various departments.

Other

  • Engage in two dynamic 12-month rotations, taking on key roles to drive impactful business outcomes.
  • Contribute to diverse functional projects and assignments, gaining valuable insights into the alignment of engineering strategies with overarching business goals.
  • Operate within a collaborative team environment, receiving guidance and mentorship from your assigned rotation manager to enhance your professional growth.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, fostering a network of support and collaboration.
  • Participate in targeted in-person leadership development conferences designed to enhance your leadership capabilities, business acumen, and technical expertise.
  • Seize opportunities to present your findings and strategic recommendations to management, showcasing your analytical and communication skills.
  • Dynamic and results-oriented professional with a proactive approach
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions
