Arcarithm is seeking a Software Engineer to work on the C2BMC program, developing software in Java for the Regional Applications Battle Management team, to support cutting-edge technologies and customers including Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and NASA.
Requirements
- Experience with Java/J2EE
- Knowledge of software practices such as coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines and configuration management
- Experience developing enterprise applications on Linux (Windows experience also desired)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams
- Use of common software development and management tools such as maven, git/github, nexus and Eclipse
- Experience with microservices and DevSecOps and/or build management
Responsibilities
- Software development in the Java language for the Regional Applications Battle Management team
- Performing in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support
- Designing, coding, testing and implementing tools for operations automation
- Working on most phases of software systems programming applications
- Assisting with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs
- Interfaces with other system support groups to resolve problems, setting standards and improving overall efficiency of the operating system
- Leadership position on small software focused teams may be required
Other
- Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level
- Must be able to maintain the required clearance
- Bachelor degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or related field and 9 years of experience or 7 years with a graduate degree
- IAT- Level II
- Ability to present advanced concepts to non-software engineers, including senior program and military leaders
