Caterpillar Inc. is looking for an Operations professional to manage and maintain tools and equipment used in their manufacturing processes, ensuring operational efficiency and product quality.
Requirements
- Manufacturing experience
- 2-years of manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of equipment, materials, methods and practices in our production process
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of manual and monitored tools.
- Troubleshoot tool problems and repair.
- Work effectively with Manufacturing Engineering to prepare tools for NPI and other process changes.
- Receive, store and issue hand and machine tools, equipment and supplies used in the manufacturing process.
- Accurately maintain computerized records of all tools and equipment in inventory.
- Inspect product received into tool crib for defects, wear or damage and reports any issues to lead person or supervisor.
- Repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required to ensure tools and equipment remain in good working condition.
