Responsibilities
- Resolve customer service tickets related to configurations, warranty RMAs, and technical issues using Linux (Rocky, Ubuntu) and networking/server hardware knowledge.
- Assist with internal and open-source research and development, including software integrations, prototype testing, and experimenting with new technologies.
- Support the setup and maintenance of virtualization and storage environments using tools such as Proxmox, ZFS, and Ceph.
- Participate in daily standups, weekly one-on-ones, and department meetings.
- Communicate effectively via email, video conferencing, chat, and calendars.
- Create and update technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures using tools like DokuWiki.
- Receive mentorship and constructive feedback from Technical Service Leads and Data Storage Specialists.
