Colorado State University's Office of Engagement and Extension (OEE) is looking to solve the problem of effectively launching new programs and increasing program awareness by hiring a Product Marketing Coordinator to conduct market research and support the development and execution of marketing and communications plans for new product launches.
Requirements
- Experience writing and editing copy
- Demonstrated understanding of Marketing and Communications channels
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Understanding of and experience with channel reporting tools and metrics, including Google Analytics and internal reporting tools to collect and analyze relevant data
- Understanding of and experience in market research
- Demonstrated working knowledge of industry software
Responsibilities
- Conducts market research in support of new program launches
- Supports development of marketing and communications plans for new product launches
- Execute on new program launch marketing and communications tactics across channels including story development for traditional print and online (including web, social and email) communications platforms
- Reporting with guidance, direction and approvals from department managers and leaders
- Develop marketing briefs, plans, campaigns and strategies that drive demand for our products and services and overall program enrollment growth
- Create engaging content for use across channels, including print, websites, social, events, and emails in alignment with brand and accessibility standards
- Support market research and analysis to inform new product marketing strategies
Other
- Completed bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, business, or related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Marketing and Communications work (experience may include student work experience).
- Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date.
- The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; OEE will not sponsor a visa for this position.
