TJX Companies is looking for accounting interns to support their Accounting Department in preparing financial statements, operational reporting, and ad hoc analysis to drive informed business decisions and maintain sound internal controls.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel (i.e., pivot tables, charts, v-look up, etc.)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience working with numbers
Responsibilities
- Monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation activities
- Produce schedules and reporting that are leveraged to make informed business decisions
- Create accurate financials and maintaining sound internal controls
- Collaborate with experienced financial professionals to ensure management and execution of projects and results in a timely and efficient manner
- Performing your own analysis projects
- Contribute to ongoing projects to be used in process improvements or enhanced analysis
- Create presentations, reports, and communications for Senior Management

- Reliable transportation is required as TJX is not easily accessible to public transportation.
