Nakupuna Prime is looking for an Acquisition Data Analyst to support a Navy customer at the Pentagon. The ideal candidate has experience transforming large structured and unstructured datasets in support of high-level officials and is a self-starter, capable of seamless work in an individual or team setting.
Requirements
- Strong background in and experience with data visualization and dashboard creation, to include experience with Qlik, Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with SharePoint content management and programming languages such as Python, SQL, non-SQL, and R.
- Demonstrated experience compiling, organizing, and cleaning large datasets for input into dashboards or business intelligence tools.
- Experience with data mining, statistical analysis, graph algorithms, API building, and ETL pipelines.
- Highly proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and analysis for data science, analysis, and management expertise for acquisition data, to include identification, collection, cleansing, analysis, and interpretation of acquisition data, and transforming raw data into meaningful information.
- Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Visualize, interpret, and report data findings.
- Develop and update acquisition, business, and sustainment (ABS) data system activities, processes, and guidance for accountability across the DON enterprise.
- Coordinate, collect, consolidate and analyze information contained in various databases and information collected during data calls for ABS data systems.
- Provide strategic evaluation of ABS data system related issues and support developing strategic plans for improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate, collect, consolidate and test ABS data systems to problem solve, validate, and account for DON requirements and support of FIAR.
