Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire an Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Engineer I to support development in ADC regions across a variety of AWS services, including AWS Wickr and other emerging technology services. The role aims to design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools, and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for customer and team workloads, specifically supporting AWS Wickr services for US Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) customers and other emerging technologies.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
- Experience in cloud computing technologies
- Experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments
- Experience with performance and log analysis
Responsibilities
- design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team's workloads.
- implement innovative cloud computing solutions
- engineer and operate the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure
- support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS
- support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
- support the AWS Wickr services for US Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) customers.
- support a variety of emerging technologies for our US ADC customers.

- The position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
- The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
