The Missouri Department of Transportation is looking to solve the problem of providing effective information systems support and end user assistance to its employees, by hiring an Administrative Intern - Information Systems Help Desk.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or post-bachelor’s degree program full-time (12+ credit hours)
- 30 credit hours completed/accepted toward current degree program
- Possess and maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Prepare desktops and laptops: Base image machines, identify software needs, install the necessary software, and set up at the user's desk
- Phone support: Respond to user questions and provide hardware and software support using remote control tools
- On-site support: Work alongside experienced staff to provide face-to-face and on-site support
- Tickets: Handle tickets submitted to the Help Desk, perform troubleshooting and resolve issues
- Inventory management: Use our Asset Management System to manage and document any changes in our inventory. Scrub machines and prepare for the surplus process.

- Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or post-bachelor’s degree program full-time (12+ credit hours)
- Possess and maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent
- 30 credit hours completed/accepted toward current degree program
- High school or other postsecondary program credits must be shown to be accepted by the current program through a degree transcript to apply
