Requirements
- Strong understanding of warehouse automation, material handling and industrial controls systems.
- Experience with simulation tools, CAD, or software development (e.g., Java, C, C/C++, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Experience in application engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Experience with software development
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept designs, software system commissioning, and customer acceptance testing.
- Support the sales team with pre-sales and post-sales technical activities.
- Work closely with R&D and product management to influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback.
- Troubleshoot complex software application issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, user guides, and training materials.
- Lead or support the deployment and integration of advanced technologies in customer environments.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in application engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
